We are excited to share that Dr. Adam Metzler and PhD Candidate Nathan Phelps, two of our esteemed researchers at the Financial Wellness Lab, have published a new article in the International Journal of Financial Studies (IJFS).
Their study, titled "The Effects of Financial Knowledge, Skill, and Self-Assessed Knowledge on Financial Well-Being, Behavior, and Objective Situation", explores how different aspects of financial knowledge influence individuals' financial outcomes. By examining financial knowledge, practical skills, and self-assessed understanding, the research sheds light on the complex relationship between what people know about money and how they manage it.
This publication is part of the special issue Advances in the Theory and Applications of Financial Literacy. You can read the full article here:
Congratulations to Dr. Metzler and Nathan Phelps for their valuable contribution to advancing financial literacy research!
